The Roku 65" Plus Series (2025) is the model where Roku brought Mini-LED backlighting down from its flagship Pro range. Paired with QLED quantum-dot colour, the result is better dynamic contrast, deeper blacks and a wider colour gamut than the previous Plus Series managed.
Another feature inherited from the Pro Series, Smart Picture Max optimises the image scene by scene automatically. You are not expected to know what "Movie" or "Vivid" mode should be doing; the TV works it out as content changes. Dolby Vision support handles dynamic HDR tone mapping.
A remote finder button sits on the back of the TV. Press it and the Enhanced Voice Remote makes a sound, which is a small feature that turns out to matter a great deal in practice.
Roku designs its own TVs around getting started quickly: an illustrated quick-start guide, clearly labelled and easy-to-reach ports, streamlined cable management and tool-free stands. A redesigned processor and memory architecture make navigation and app launching noticeably quicker than earlier models.
